Montréal du GersBastide Gascogne

Founded in the 13th century, this bastide is one of the oldest in Gascony. It enjoys a picturesque setting high above the Auzoue valley. Although the Wars of Religion damaged the town’s heritage, it has preserved a fortified Gothic church and a square square lined with attractive medieval mansions.
